Keeper Henderson Returns on Loan

Ipswich Town have resigned former loan keeper Stephen Henderson on loan for a second period until the end of the current season.

Henderson played 16 times for Town earlier in the season during a loan spell from West Ham which was not extended in early January due to the glovesman picking up an injury that would have ruled him out for a few weeks.

The stopper was linked with a move to Championship rivals Blackburn Rovers earlier yesterday, but the move fell through and with Henderson now fit again, Town agreed a deal to resign him until the end of the season to provide competition for Scott Loach who has returned to the first team in the absence of Henderson.
