Town Boss Nominated for Award

Ipswich Town's manager Mick McCarthy has been nominated for the Npower League Championship Manager of the Month award for December.

The other nominees for the last month of 2012 are Cardiff City's Malky MacKay and Hull City's Steve Bruce, with both teams having scored slightly more points in the month of December than Town.

Meanwhile new loan signing David McGoldrick has been nominated for the League One player of the month award for his goalscoring exploits at former loan club Coventry.
