We preview this weekend's game against Hull City in the Npower League Championship away from home.

Ipswich Town go into this weekend's game occupying 23rd in the league after a disappointing start to the season and will be looking to turn their fortunes around against a Hull City side who sit just inside the top half, laying in 10th place in the standings.

Record Between the Teams
Town will have to overcome historical records stacked in the Yorkshire sides favour if they are to come out victorious from the match with the club having won just one match at Hull in 15 games played.

That game took place in the 2006/2007 season with Hull fighting against relegation. Jim Magilton's side came up 5-2 winners thanks to goals from the on-loan Francis Jeffers, Jaime Peters, Alan Lee, Jason De Vos and Danny Haynes in a match whill the home side initally led 1-0 thanks to a goal from Dean Windass. 

Form Guide
Hull's recent home form is not setting the world alight but still is more than respectable. In their previous six games at The Circle, the Tigers have picked up nine points, winning three and losing three, with 12 goals both for and against.

Town's record on the road this year has undoubtly been very poor though, with just two draws coming from the last six games,, finding the net on just four occasions whilst conceding 10 at the other end.
