Edwards Reveals Manager Ambitions

Town midfielder or full back Carlos Edwards has revealed he has ambitions to go into management when his playing career comes to an end.

The 34 year old Trinidad and Tobago international, currently skipper at Portman Road believes however that he has a few more years left of playing time before hanging up his boots to concentrate on a coaching role.

Speaking to the local press, Edwards admitted: “I would love to get in management one day. That’s the beauty of football – you never know what to expect.”

Town's number 7 joined the club in September 2009 in a joint deal that also saw Sunderland's Grant Leadbitter come to Portman Road for a fee in the region of £4m.
