On loan striker DJ Campbell says that he's not worried about Town's position of 23rd in the Npower League Championship, believing the club very much has the player and support to fight its way up the table.

The Hammersmith born 30 year old joined the club for a three month loan spell in early October, scoring a fortunate goal in his first game against Cardiff City and believes his new temporary side have what it takes to recover from a disappointing start to the season.

“Coming here didn’t bother me at all. I did my homework before I came, I had the options to go to a team towards the top of the table (Blackpool), but I felt Ipswich suited me best at this time. It was about how I felt and what I wanted to do." he told the Ipswich Star.

"I don’t worry about the league position because speaking to friends who are fans of the club and former players they’ve assured me that the performances have probably merited better results.

“I’m not worried about us being where we are – we’ve got the players to get out of it. Most of all though we’ve got the fans to get out of it. You saw how good they were against Cardiff and they made it really enjoyable for me.”
