Newcastle about to move for Juventus star?

There are reports in Italy and Chilli, that Newcastle are planning to make a move for Juve winger Mauricio Isla, with one Chilean paper La Nacion going as far as to suggest a fee of around 10 million Euro has already been agreed between the clubs.

And that the club are ready to offer the player a 4 year contract. Isla who is predominately a right-back but can also play midfield, played 18 times for la bianconeri last season, would seem an unusual choice of target following the arrival last week of Daryl Janmaat from Feyenoord, but an ability to play further forward, would suggest that they could complement each other very nicely.

There were reports last week of interest fromAtletico Madrid, but the player is said to favour a move to the Premier league.
