Dear Sir,

My name is Jim Mulvain and I'am from Blyth. I'am 60 years old.
I never used to miss a home game, from the 1960"s to 1990. I gave
up after they sold Gazza, Waddle, Beardsley. I used to go to some
of the away games between 1970-1980. It was the same as then, as
it is now. ( Westwood, McKeag, etc etc ), selling all the best
players. They did win the fairs Cup, but still sold Pop Robson.

I feel sorry for all the season ticket holders now. Mike Ashley,
just sells all the best players to the highest bidder.Since he has been here, he has sold players over 120million plus Relegation plus Promotion Payment, and only spent about 90million. The money he spent on the 5 Frenchmen he put on the asking price of the Club.

The asking price of the Club was 149million, soon after he bought
the 5 Frenchmen, the asking price went up to 167million
In other words, "I can't get my own way, I can't name the Stadium
Sports Direct Arena "

I sometimes follow Mike Ashley in the Buisness Page.Two years ago
in October, it said he was sitting with a new mate in the Village
pub where he lives, (Divid Dein ) ex chief exsecutive of Arsenal.
What did Arsenal do when he was their. He bought Frenchmen. So what, happend in January,he bought Frenchmen.

He knows nothing about football, he askes people in the village,
who knows about football, what to do.

HE HAS NO AFILLATION TO FOOTBALL, JUST MONEY.

I do watch Newcastle when they are on tv, because i can't afford
a season ticket.

Well said James, sums up my own feelings quite well. Apart from when I was working away I have been going to Newcastle since the early 1970s, season ticket holder from the early 80s, until a year ago.

I had just had enough of been taken for a mug.

Apart from Cabaye (a player who had gone on strike previously) which of our best players has he sold?

There's worse people than David Dein to be taking advice from about running football clubs.

Apart from cabaye, who is class that he's brought in?

Nobody mentioned class, we were talking about our best players being sold!

Has anybody seen the stadium plan for season tickets on the official website ?
Half the stadium has seats available ! I've never seen it like this before , every year I look as I was always after a better seat but usually there were only a few sections available and none better than me and the lad had already
Bloody typical that this year I could pretty much sit anywhere I like in the stadium and I'm not interested in renewing :-/
This crooked regime has taken away my pride in being a toon fan
Whilst it is in my blood and will always love the club no matter what and always check on the results I no longer have that desire to see them at all costs , if their on TV I'd still probably find something else I'd rather be doing than watch
He'll I think I'd even rather take the wife shopping as that is less torture and probably more fun

I saw the plan, that's where the article came from, I would guess at about 20 thousand seats left.

And mental, Milner, given.

Still waiting for the replacement for Milner, and the Carroll money to be spent for that matter.

Dave, What about Ferdinand, Ginola, Solano etc

Howay Mental, you cant credit Ashley with signing any of them.

He didn't sell any of them either, so its not just the current regime that sells our best players

Oh right sorry I see. If I remember correctly Ferdinand was a mistake and the attempted to stop it, solano, wanted to be closer to his kids, ginola wanted London.

And we at least attempted to replace them, that cannot be said for the current shower.

Cabaye wanted to play for PSG, the only difference between then and now is the money was reinvested back then, the players were of a poorer quality but the money was reinvested.

Exactly the money WAS reinvested, not actually the only difference, they did not rob all the advertising revenue, and Attempt to rip the soul out of the club, but I concede your point.

We used to have a club to support, now we have a failing advertising front.

Also when two of those mentioned went to spurs, it was considered a step down, now it would be a step up, oh how far we have fallen.
