Team Line-Ups: Everton v Newcastle Utd

Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has dropped Papiss Cisse and Yohan Cabaye from the starting line-up today with Yoan Gouffran and Cheik Tiote both coming in. Shola Ameobi is still not fit for the bench but brother Sammy will be expecting to make an appearance at some point this evening. Osman starts for Everton and Gareth Barry makes his 500th Premier League appearance. Kone returns from injury to make the bench. 


Everton

Howard, Baines, Distin, Jagielka, Coleman, Barkley, Osman, Mirallas, Barry, McCarthy, Lukaku.

Substitutes

Joel, Heitinga, Jelavic, Kone, Deulofeu, Naismith, Stones.

Newcastle United

Krul; Debuchy, Yanga-Mbiwa, Coloccini (c), Santon; Anita, Tiote, Sissoko; Gouffran, Remy, Ben Arfa.

Elliot, Dummett, Williamson, Cabaye, Obertan, Sammy Ameobi, Cisse

I'm not surprised to see both Cabaye and Cisse dropped to the bench.

Must admit I was mildly surprised to see no Cisse.

Not saying it's a bad move (yet anyway) just surprised.

I would have dropped Cisse 3 games ago. Not on the back of a game he scored in.
