Match Thread/Team Line-Ups: Pacos de Ferreira v NUFC

Newcastle United face Pacos de Ferreira this evening in an 8pm kick off in Portugal. The game will be Newcastle’s third pre-season friendly and they go into the game having won one and lost one. Their defeat came against Rio Ave in their first game in Portugal where they conceded 3 goals in the first 26th minutes before scoring a consolation goal in the second half courtesy of Shola Ameobi in the 76th minute. 

Pacos de Ferreira, who made the Champions League this season are expected to field a strong team as they prepare for their forthcoming return to the Primeira Liga season with their next game being on the 18th August.

Alan Pardew, whose side it yet to be strengthened this summer, has named Rob Elliot in goal, with Alnwick dropping to the bench. Sammy Ameobi and Shola Ameobi both start upfront having started Saturday’s game on the bench.

Debuchy was just spoiling for a fight.
Coloccini assaulted their player 3 minutes later after being forced to the ground and then they all waded in.

Their matey has been sent off two.

That's 2 reds and 4 yellows in 15 minutes
