Alan Pardew finds himself wondering what to do with Danny Simpson tomorrow after he praised him for his performance against West Ham last weekend. Simpson who has played 26 games this season for the club (19 Premier League & 7 Europa League) is out of contract at the end of the season but has been labelled a "terrific servant" for the club by Pardew.
Pardew told The Gazette;
“There’s a decision to be made. Danny was absolutely fabulous at West Ham.
There have been a few negative things said about Danny, but when we’ve really needed him, he’s come to the fore.
He played a lot last year in that top-five run. He’s been a terrific servant for us.”
