Dummett Re-Signs For St Mirren On Loan

Newcastle United defender Paul Dummett has been granted a second loan spell at St Mirren, after a club insider for the scottish club previously said that the move would not happen. Dummett who made 19 appearances and scored twice whilst he was on loan for the first half of the season has previously indicated that he would welcome the return. He will now stay with St Mirren until the end of the season.

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew gave him his debut against Brighton and Hove Albion in the FA Cup earlier this month, but a successful transfer window means that the 21 year old can now go back to playing first team football in the Scottish League.

Dummett will also gain useful Cup experience as he will be eligible to play in the Scottish League Cup final against Hearts.
