It's Official! Ba Completes Move To Chelsea

Chelsea FC have confirmed that Demba Ba is now offcially signed to the club. The 27 year old has signed a three and a half year deal and is expected to start in tomorrows FC Cup game against Southampton at St Marys. Whilst it is common knowledge that the fee was just £7.5 million, £5million of which Newcastle can put towards a replacement, there has been no confirmation of the terms of his contract and no mention as to why the medical took so long or even if he passed it.

Ba told the Official Chelsea website;

"It feels good to be here, I'm very happy and very proud.

It was important for me, and for Newcastle, to get my future sorted and now we can move on. Now they have the whole month to buy someone and for me as well, the sooner the better. Now I am here I just need to get settled in.

When the club who won the Champions League wants you, the decision is very easy. This club is massive and that's something that helped the decision a lot. It was not a hard one."

Nowt to do with his greedy agents?, just wait till your stuck on the bench, or does it not matter now

Money talks but he will be stuck on the bench so that will limit the amount of impact he has for Chelski or at least I hope that is the case especially when they play us.

He did very well for us and I wish him all the best at his new club.
Hopefully they'll use their brains and play him.
