Ba Agents Meeting Chelsea This Evening

Sky Sports are currently reporting that representatives for Newcastle United striker Demba Ba are meeting with Chelsea this evening to thrash out a deal for the Senegal International. Earlier today the Chronicle reported that Ba had been telling team-mates a move to London, and Chelsea, was his preferred option. Before todays news, Arsenal had seemed a favourite of Ba who had also commented on his respect for PSG.

Ba's £7.5million release clause menas that any negotiation will be regarding the terms and conditions of any contract he may be offered. With Ba allegedly requesting £80,000 a week in wages, Chelsea are one of the few clubs who may be prepared to meet that cost.

It's almost inevitable that he will leave. We won't be offering him anything like the wages Chelsea will give him.
Nor should we.

Exactly just one of a few players who think they have become bigger than the club since we did well last term. I thank him for his goals and would love him to stay, however a big part of the problem this season is too many players are getting ahead of themselves and were probably expecting a big money move away in the summer. Time to freshen things up with hungry players again.

I agree if he wants away then let him go just hope we buy someone to replace him.He has done well for us but if he wants more money then he will have to go such is life the show must go on.

Throughout all of the recent speculation i have always said Chelsea will probably be his least likely destination, i said this because Chelsea play with 1 up front and i cant see Ba removing Torres from that spot! Ba wants to be the number 1 striker wherever he goes and he wont be at the likes of Chelsea
