Denzel Slager On 1 Week Loan At Newcastle

Newcastle United have offered a week long trial to 19 year old Denzel (Butcher) Slager of Dutch side Rooms Katholieke Combinatie Waalwijk (RKC Waalwijk). The former FC Utrecht youngster signed in July 2012 having only been at FC Utrecht since 2011 and has made two appearances for the side, played 18 minutes in total, picking up a yellow card in his first game.

RKC Waalwijk's Technical Director Janus Van Gelder said of the Dutch striker;

“Slager is a great  talent.

He will get the opportunity in the first week of January.”

I would say yes, in addition.

This guy is just a kid with no experience. He won't cost a lot at all to get in to bolster the squad.

We do need experience though but I would say in addition.

Personally I find the dutch spelling of whoever did the report pretty impressive.

And would imagine he would simply be one for the future

I guess that is right need to get more experienced players in to strengthen the squad.
