Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has been charged with misconduct by the FA over an incident with the referees assistant on Saturday evening. Pardew, who was sent to the stands after pushing Stuart Burt on the touchline, apologised both publically and privately after the game and admitted he had let himself down.
Pardew has until Thursday 23rd August 2012 at 4pm to respond. However, he may be better off accepting the charge, as previous appeals by others have seen touchline bans imposed and extended.
