Newcastle United goal keeper Tim Krul has confirmed that the problem he picked up with his hamstring on Sunday afternoon against Norwich is not serious. Krul was visibly limping towards the end of the game and was seen rubbing his hamstring. He has now had an MRI scan which has shown there is no muscle tissue damage and he is fit to play against West Brom at the weekend.
Krul tweeted;
"I’ve just had the results back from my MRI scan. It’s all clear and I’m already looking forward to the West Brom game.”
