Keegan Criticises Ashley

Former Newcastle United manager Kevin Keegan has fired a broadside at his former boss Mike Ashley over the decision to axe Chris Hughton. “Chris Hughton's shock departure has once again demonstrated Newcastle United need some stability, but you will never get stability when you have Mike Ashley and Derek Llambias running the club” said Keegan.


Both Ashley and Llambias claim Hughton was removed to make way for a more experienced manager but King Kev has pointed out that Alan Pardew isn’t exactly weighed down with experience himself.

Keegan was quick to follow up with "The fans would be wrong to pick on Alan. If results don't go well then they may start to voice discontent but Alan is just the meat in the middle of the sandwich, Ashley wants to sell but also wants to make money and in the current financial climate that will be difficult. Newcastle are in a bit of a corner." The former Toon boss added
Keegan has simply said what everyone else is thinking.

Toon fans who wish to see NUFC perform well have no choice other than to support Pardew but it leaves a bitter taste in the mouth and leaves people wondering where Mike Ashley will take our proud club!

Fully agree with KK, a change of owner is needed otherwise the circus will always continue. But then we thought it when Fat Freddie left.

Now it is hard in the premiership, as the last thing I want is what happened to Pompey and what it was looking like fro Liverpool before the takeover
