Well goalkeeping coach Stewart Kerr is in the papers this morning suggesting Celtic should look no further than Randolph for their number 1, surely he should be keeping him at Fir Park.

The headline in the Record has Kerr saying Celtic should look no further than Darren Randolph for their goalkeeper for next season. This had my blood boiling when I read it, Kerr works for Motherwell and should be looking make sure Randolph does his best at Fir Park rather then selling him to SPL rivals.

But when you read the article it does quote our keeping coach as saying he should stay with Motherwell for another six months and if he performs the way he did last season and the “sky will be the limit”.

I just wish current employees of the club would not get drawn into this type of conversation that will see these headlines splashed across the papers.

Obviously Celtic will know all about Randolph and we don’t need anyone point him in their direction.

At the end of the day (cliché central) I would rather we sold Randolph for a lot of money to someone in England, particularly given the record Celtic have of splashing the cash in our direction.

First off, I'm a Celtic fan. However my blood also boils when club employees let their mouths run riot and seem to work against the best interests of whatever team they're with. Carefull though with gettin' too upset, we're dealing with a report from the ever reliable Scottish red tops! As I write they're currently playing a blinder with the Kayal non-story(creating doubts about a well loved player)"JOB DONE". Good luck with the comin' season btw.
