Striker to move from to The Gas

Bristol Rovers are set to sign Fleetwood Towns 23-year-old forward Promise Omochere.

Omochere scored six times in a struggling Fleetwood team that suffered relegation from the League but was mainly used on the wing. The deal is believed to be in the region of £500,000 but not all of that will be up-front costs. Darrell Clarkes Barnsley wer are also believed to be interested in 23 year old who only has less than 12 months to run on his current contract with the League Two side. He played 34 times for Fleetwood Town last season scoring six times adding one assist, Omochere can play either through the middle or on either flanks, he started out at League of Ireland side Bohemians in which scored 10 times in just 14 appearances before securing a move to Fleetwood. Promise has over 50 League appeances to his name.
