We’re on a Bad Run but…..

  We Would Have Taken This at the Start of the Season  

Yes Barnsley are on a bad run at the minute but if we had been offered 15th place with 16 points from 13 games at the start of the season then every Barnsley fan would have taken it.

 

We’re still 4 points above the drop zone and 5 off the play offs and there’s a long way to go until the end of the season.

 

I know at the moment none of us can see where the next win is coming from but the start of the season should give us confidence that we can improve and start picking up results again.

 

It was always going to be hard for the reds in this league and I think that our good start gave a lot of us false optimism.

 

As fans we must now get behind the team and expect a dog fight for the rest of the season. That’s what we were expecting anyway so why should a good start change that.
