Well, it seems regular columnist Ade O'Connor has resigned from IrelandEuro2004.tk to go onto the bigger things. I'm still in contact, trying to squeeze a few more articles from him! I'm still in contact, trying to squeeze a few more articles from him Anyway, I'd like to thank him for his work throughout the World Cup and wish him the best of luck for the future. I hope to have two replacement columnists working soon.



The site will be reordered a bit soon. The remit of the site will expand from Irish International soccer to cover Eircom League soccer also. There will be a new forum dedicated to Eircom League matters.



Possible expansions after that will be voted on by the poll system on the front page. Anything from coverage of supporters clubs of Irish teams to Championship Manager competitions may be considered.



We are also looking for anyone how wishes to do a detailed profile of a specific player on the senior squad. Also included would be profiles of former greats, or someones all-time XI.



As the time draws nearer to the decision, more coverage will be given to the Ireland/Scotland Euro 2008 bid, and the construction of Stadium Ireland.



Of course, we will not forget the original aim of IrelandEuro2004.tk, which was to provide you with the latest straight facts on Irish International soccer. We will still strive to deliver the latest about Mick and the lads, from wherever it may be. Hopefully, we will be delivering news right till the final whistle blows in Lisbon next summer. After that, who knows? WorldCup2006.tk? IrelandEuro2008.ie? You'll have to wait and see.
