6 Cherry-And-White players will lead the England attack against the Barbarians on Saturday with youngsters James Forrester and Simpson-Daniel eager to shine on the big stage. Andy Gomarsall has also been awarded a return to the team.

Andy has been out of the squad for a few years and we have to say thank you to Sky Sports for the influx of Kingsholm players on the international stage. Because they dragged England coach Clive Woodward along as a pundit, he realised that there is a rugby town called Gloucester, which has an amazing amount of young talent and experienced English superstars.

The five players which will start are Phil Vickery (captain), Trevor Woodman, James Forrester, Andy Gomarsall and James Simpson-Daniel. Ed Pierce has also been called into the squad because of other injured players. It is obvious that he has been called upon because of the inspiring performance against Newcastle on Saturday.

Big Vicks's dream has come true now that he has been named captain. Vickery, who has signed a new contract with Gloucester, recently played all three tests for the British Lions in the summer. He was the heaviest ever British Lion, and his excellent strength and superb scrummaging skills will set him up well as the forefront of the England team in the future.

James Simpson-Daniel will have the mammoth task of marking Jonah Lomu, and I think that it is fair to say that their sizes don't match! Put some money on Sinbad scoring a hat-trick and ending up man of the match.

There has been some discussion on the forum recently about which players will leave if any. Ewens has now left the club, And Philippe Saint-Andre has said a swap with cash for Stephane Glas for be a fair deal. However, if a lot of Gloucester players will be playing internationally next season, their matches for Glaws will be limited, so a big squad would be great to stop us losing games because we have to put out a second side, ala Leicester.
