Seb Scores

The first away win of 2025 gives Gloucs a chance of making the play-offs if results go their way on the last day. The 26-12 win at Newcastle Falcons achieved the try bonus point  which was good enough to end the day in fifth place.

Saints will be the opposition at Kingsholm on May 31st. Gloucs must get the five points out of that one and then wait to see what their rivals do.

They will go into the game on the back of a workmanlike performance against a Falcons side, who are eagerly awaiting Red Bull's decision on whether to buy them or Bristol.  Without upsetting our close rivals the game needs its northern clubs.

Falcons went ahead in this game courtesy of a  Ben Stevenson try. However, once Gloucs got into gear there was only one winner with Chris Harris crossing before the lead was increased with a penalty try. Seb Atkinson then ensured his side went into the break with a 21-5 lead.

In the second half Jack Cotgreave scored that important bonus point try -Falcons getting a consolation for Stevenson's red card with a try from replacement Joe Davis.
