Gloucester had to be content with two points after looking likely to take all five for much of the game at Welford Road.

Credit to TIgers who overcame a 19-8 half-time deficit to take the game,  and the Ed Slater Cup , 29-26 leaving the Gloucs coaches to work out how to close out games.

Max Llewellyn got a hat-trick with Freddie Thomas getting the other try in the first half as the visitors took the game to their hosts. Charlie Atkinson timed his pass to send Llewellyn clear (pictured) and then   Arthur Clark set up Thomas who was able to slide in to score.

Tomos Williams put in a chip to set up Llewellyn's second just before oranges  and his third came near the end to earn his side two points which keeps them in 8th place.
