Season Is Over

Gloucester have had very little to celebrate this season and the misery continued at the Rec where Bath inflicted the 9th league defeat in a row.  However, it looks like planning is already under way for next season with the news that Wales' Tomos Williams will be joining the Cherry and Whites in the summer.

The plans must be good to attract the 29 year old (right) and to be fair much of the Gloucs performance at Bath wasn't  bad. However, the high-flying hosts ran out 17-10 winners - inflicting that record-breaking defeat .

It started well  with  a Ruan Ackermann try and a pen from  Adam Hastings  providing a promising 10-5 lead at the break.

Unfortunately, Gloucs could not add to that score with Will Muir crossing to level things up followed by a second of the afternoon for Tom De Glanville.

It's the European Challenge Cup trip to Edinburgh this wek - another opportunity to put things right?
