The European Challenge Cup is proving a game changer for Gloucester fans as their side overcame Clermont 28-17 in front of the Shed.

Forget the Premiership the Cherry and Whites have now won both of their Challenge Cup games,  and looking much the better for it.

It was a great start with both Jonny May and Santi Socino scoring.  The side went in 22-10 up at the break but could only add two penalties from Santiago Carreras in the second half.

It was enough with head coach George Skivington delighted with the performance: "The result is obviously brilliant, but what I'm most pleased about is that we looked like the Gloucester we pride ourselves on being .... the effort, the energy and the physicality the boys put out there today was outstanding."
