The Cherry and Whites kick off their European Challenge Cup campaign with another tricky trip to Lyon. It's on BT on Friday kick off 8.00 pm.  

The French club are up at the top of the league and formidable on their own pitch.

We will be taking them on with a completely different starting 15 to the one which beat Bristol last week. A luxury perhaps or a sign that the Challenge Cup is not top of our priorities.

Billy Twelvetrees will lead them out and he'll be alongside Kyle Moyle at fullback with Santiago Carreras and Alex Morgan on the wings. Giorgi Kveseladze parthers Billy in the centre with Messrs Vareny and Barton at half back

The front row will be  Jamal Ford-Robinson, Santiago Socino and Fraser Balmain;Andrew Davidson and Arthur Clark in the second row with Freddie Thomas, Jack Clement and Harry Taylor in the back row. 

The eight chaps desperate to get on inlcude no less than seven Academy players who will no doubt benefit from the whole experience.
