Another game of two halves with Gloucs giving themslves a mountain  to climb at half time - and then scaling it with ease after the break. They trailed 21-7 before storming back with four second half tries to beat Falcons 35-24 

The bonus point win leaprfogs Gloucs over their visitors at the wrong end of the table. Small mercies.

Falcons started the better scoring three out of the first four tries - all in the opening quarter. Louis Rees-Zammit got one back for the cherry and whites with Callum Chick and George McGuigan crossing for the Geordies.

Gloucs were giving away too many penalties and then lost Jonny May to an ankle injury.

However, they regrouped at the break with Stpehen Varney breaking from a a maul to send in Ruan Sckermann.

Then replacement Willi  Heinz finished offan 80 yeard move from inside the home 22 and, despite Falcons going ahead with a penalty, two late tries from Willi and Evans clinched an entertaining win.
