Old Guard Return

Ludlow Leads

Another interesting week at Kingsholm as George Skivington continues to build his team. Its good-bye, best wishes and thanks to Danny Ciprani and it's hello to some of the new faces who impressed so much last week. Seb  Nagle-Taylor, on loan from Hartpury, will be delighted to see his name in the squad - no more than he deserves.

The side which faces Ulster will be much more seasoned. Val Rapava-Ruskin, Jack Singleton and Ciaran Knight are the  front row with Ed Slater and Matias Alemanno in the second row.

Jordy Reid and Ruan Ackermann return to the back row alongside skipper Ludlow..

The half-back combination is interesting with  Charlie Chapman starting  alongside Lloyd Evans who gets the "Cipriani shirt" and is tipped to keep it for some time. While Louis Rees-Zammit returns on the wing with a lot more experience on the opposite side in the shape of Charlie Sharples.

Ulster arrive off the back of a commendable 29-22 defeat at home to Toulouse last week. Our home advantage and experience should prevail,.

Gloucs: 15. Kyle Moyle 14. Charlie Sharples 13. Chris Harris 12. Mark Atkinson 11. Louis Rees-Zammit 10. Lloyd Evans 9. Charlie Chapman 1. Val Rapava-Ruskin 2. Jack Singleton 3. Ciaran Knight 4. Ed Slater 5. Matias Alemanno 6. Jordy Reid 7. Lewis Ludlow (capt) 8. Ruan Ackermann

Reps: Henry Walker,  Alex Seville, Jamal Ford-Robinson, Alex Craig,  Seb Nagle-Taylor, Toby Venner, George Barton, Henry Trinder.
