Poor old James Hanson has suffered an epic lockdown of his own having been out for 20 months while his Achilles recoved - the good news is that we start season 2020-21 with him at hooker as we travel to Welford Road. There is always light at the end of the tunnel.
Still no supporters to add much needed passion, but we can cheer from in front of our TV sets as BT Sport cover the 3.00 pm kick off on Saturday. There's other games on at the same time on other channels - you can always record that to watch later.
Sadly, in one way, we don't have too many players away on international duty with Matt Banahan starting in place of Johnny May who will be live on that other channel. On the bench Jamie Gibson will be itching to make his debut after joining from Northampton Saints earlier this month.
Joe Simpson gets the nod at nine alongside Danny.
