Strange times and nothing stranger than seeing corner flags at Sandy Park being disinfected by a man in a mask. On the pitch a completely different starting XV saw Gloucester compete well against the Chiefs and deserved at least one bonus point in the 35-22 defeat.
Both Charlie Sharples and Jamal Ford-Robinson should have started. They failed late fitness tests and so were replaced by Alex Morgan and Logovi'i Mulipola. The penalties of playing three games in a week during this phoney end of season.
Tries from Luke Cowan-Dickie, Jonny Hill and Sam Simmonds and one for us from Matt Banahan put Chiefs 21-8 up at half time.
Ian Whitten crossed for Chiefs' bonus-point try on the re-start and they made it five with Jack Maunder crossing.
However, we enjoyed a late rally with a second for Banahan and one for Josh Gray.
A bit of a rest until we take on Quins at Kingsholm - next Monday, no less kick off 7.45.
