The restart to the 2019-20 sesson is an intriguing one for everyone who reveres the cherry and white shirt. The lockdown has led to wholsale changes at Kingsholm and now we are on the verge of finding out what the future may hold as George Skivington selects his first side - hopeully one which will triumph at Worcester - kick off on BT Sport 12.45.
It'll be a be a tough task for a side which despite all the upheaval, looks remarkably familiar.
Lewis Ludlow leads and Jonny May returns from struggling Tigers (sorry, coldn't resist) while a lot of interest will bve on England's Jack Singleton making his debut at hooker.
Cipriani gets another chance to wipe the slate clean, while Louis Rees-Zammit will doubtless be given the chance to come off the bench and provide a bit of magic.
He will be sitting out the opening stages alongside new boys Logo Mulipola, Jack Stanley and Matt Garvey as the head coach starts with a side which pretty much knows each other.
