If Sarries weren't in the position they find themselves in  we would now be nervously looking over our shoulder at the relegation place ...

The 39-22 defeat at Wasps was our seventh consecutve loss in all competitions - we last won on January 11th against Montpellier.

As a result we have slumped to 9th place-  only six points ahead of Tigers who would be bottom if not for Sarries' points deduction.

We can have no arguments with the latest result. We started slowly, woke up and then went back to sleep. We did get a  try bonus point courtesy of Tom Marhsall, Ollie Thorley, Billy Twelvetrees and Lloyd Evans.

There's a fortnight to get things back on track before the derby game at Wuss on March 21st.
