Charlie Sharples will have to travel a long way to celebrate his 250th appearance for the Cherry and Whites ...
Our longest trip of the season has been reserved for the Christmas holiday, and it won't be an easy one on Sunday as Newcastle Falcons are widenly considered to be in a false position.
They are also notoriously difficult to beat on their own synthetic "turf."
However, that surface should suit Charlie more than the traditonal festive mud, and it would be great to see the one club man celebrate with a win - or even a hat trick. He deserves it.
So does Lewis Ludlow who makes a welcome return to action and starts in the back row.
We make some interesting changesin the backs where Callum Braley and Owen Williams will be the half backs and Tom Hudson starts at inside centre.
Gloucs: 15. Jason Woodward; 14. Charlie Sharples, 13. Billy Twelvetrees, 12. Tom Hudson, 11. Ollie Thorley; 10. Owen Williams, 9. Callum Braley; 1. Josh Hohneck, 2. Jaco Visagie, 3. Ciaran Knight; 4. Ed Slater (captain), 5. Franco Mostert; 6. Freddie Clarke, 7. Lewis Ludlow, 8. Ben Morgan
