Ma’afu To Play

The signing of Salesi Ma'afu is an interesting one and it comes at the perfect time with the visit of Treviso Benetton this Saturday ..

It looks like the 33 year old Aussie prop will be at least in the squad and likely to start.

He brings the experience of 14 caps with Australia and, of course, has worked with Laurie Fisher before.

Whether he has been signed to provide experienced back up late in the game (not our best part of the 80 minutes) or whether he is a genuine contender for the clean shirt remains to be seen.
