We are now just three points behind Saints who are in fourth place after the 32-6 victory over resurgent Falcons ..

After starting off like a house on fire it was surprising that we had to wait until close to the end for Tom Savage to force his way over for the bonus point.

In that highly entertaining first half Bill Meakes, James Hook and Ross Moriarty all crossed the line to give us a comfortable 25-6 half-time lead.

Perhaps it was too comfortable as we took the foot of the proverbial pedal. Falcons never really got into the game, but that elusive bonus try was a long time coming.

Savage was among a number of repalcements who came on to liven things up and the strategy worked.
