There's a few more tickets going on sale today for the Challenge Cup Final but there will be thousands of Cherry and Whites disappointed.
Quite why The Stoop is the venue is a mystery. It holds less than 15,000 and we could fill that with Glaws supporters alone never mind he Edinburgh followers who will doubtless make the long trek to support their fine club.
Our initial allocation was only 3,500, with lots of tickets already sold earlier in the season way before the likely finalists were known.
Isn't there a bigger ground somewhere near which we could use on Friday May 1st?
Regardless, it promises to be a fine game, and if we continue where we left off at the weekend we might just get our place in next year's Champions Cup.
We knew fourth placed Chiefs would be tough opposition and so they were until the final dramatic quarter.
A total of 24 points wrere scored with Tom Savage extending our lead to eight points after 67 minutes only for Elvis Taione to go over to get his side back in the game.
But up stepped Tom May to react quickest to a loose ball to clinch the game 30-19.
We deserved it.
