DoR Appointment Soon

The new monarch of Kingsholm will be crowned next week. That's the promise from the Gloucester hierarchy who say they've scoured the world for a coach fit to manage our latest star signings ..

Chief Exec Stephen Vaugahan says they want a man who can build the club over the next three to four years.

But it hasto be said that it looks like his first season will have to be with the squad he has inherited-  incuding the leading internationals who have joined the club between Nigel Davies' sacking and the new appointment.

It's an odd way to do things,  but whoever gets the job must be happy with the squad he will take-over.

This may be sour grapes but reading between the lines Willie Anderson seems to be having a bit of a go at David Humphreys and his lack of coaching .

Nedshed, Ulster fan coming in peace, Big Willy is not having a go at all just stating a fact. Humph has never ever ever coached, he retired from Rugby and got a job as A resource manager (i think that as the title) he then invented the DOR job , give himself a big paycheck and the rest is History. He would never allow coaches coming in to have their own staff as all his mates had jobs, Am I sorry to see him go yes. he was one ruthless fecker and run a good professional outfit but a bit of a dictator, Now he has gone and by all accounts Glaws forced the timing, good bye and hopefully we can now get rid of the coaches he left behind.

He got an easy ride here due to his popularity and a bit of fear, i do not believe Glaw fans will be a generous if it goes @#$%& up. I hope it works but your not getting a DOR who coaches,

That does sound like sour grapes. I thought he was a living legend on the other side of the water?
Let's see who he brings in as head coach. That will be a true test of his mettle

It's not sour grapes, just the truth and sometimes the truth hurts.

Well you're pleased to see the back of him and we're please to give him a chance. Winners all round.
BTW if he is a bit of hard case that bruits me as I think our last DoR was too nice a bloke.
