Three more new faces for next season - and they're all backs.
Leeds Carnegie full back Stevie McColl is the latest player to agree to move to Kingsholm for next season joining Ospreys centre Tom Isaacs who also put pen to paper this week, and Bedford Blues's 6ft 4in centre Mark Atkinson.
We're not short of talent in the backs but there's no harm in having competition for places.
Isaacs started as a scrum half but has been cpaped at centre at Wales U20s and Sevens level and was a member of the Wales side that won the 2009 Sevens World Cup. He has been a regular in the Ospreys line up over the past few seasons with more than 60 appearances.
McColl is a former Scottish U20 and has spent the past three seasons at Headingley after joining from Doncaster Knights. He has been a stand out player in the Championship and was called up to the Scotland squad for the 2013 Autumn internationals.
Atkinson is a 24-year-old who started his career as a fly-half at Sale before spells at Wasps and Esher.
I'm hoping that these guys are squad replacements for Ryan Mills, Tavis Knoyle and Freddie Burns and that we're not due a big name departure [other than Freddie , of course].
Why would anyone else want to leave when the forwards signings mean we will have a much better platform next season?
Don't forget we have more backs on international duty that just about anyone else so we have to have cover as well as competition for places.
