On paper it may have looked a meaningless game but tell that to Henry Trinder. He set about a lack lustre Wasps scoring two tries in the 40-5 victory and sending out a clear message to the England coaches who may well need some extra backs as the Six Nations unfolds. ..

Let's hope Jonny May's shirt isn't up for grabs after he suffered a broken nose in Paris.

But,  if Henry is needed, he's back on form scoring two tries in his first game of 2014  following his groin injury. Both came in the first half as the visitors were blown away with Dan Murphy also crossing twice.

Neither side could progress any further in the LV but the Gloucs performance will give the squad great heart for the winnable trip to Sharks next weekend.
