Gloucester return to their domestic bread and butter this weekend after their two-week Euro break, and they need to return to the form that saw them sign off the first phase of Premiership action with a brilliant 18-3 win at old rivals Bath. But even though the next two games are both at home, that won’t be an easy task – Harlequins and Leicester will make sure of that.

Quins at Kingsholm on an autumn Saturday afternoon is what top-level English club rugby is all about, two teams packed with stars battling it out in front of a passionate, knowledgeable crowd.
Let’s hope the game goes close to living up to its billing.
Glaws had mixed fortunes in Europe, losing in France when they should have won and hammering an Italian side at Kingsholm. But now it’s back to the staple diet, and winning both these home games is vital if coach Bryan Redpath’s top-four dream is to be achieved.
Redpath told the Citizen: "We did the job well on Saturday [against Rovigo], but there's not a whole lot we can take from that, so we'll just keep moving forward and use the extra time that frees up on Quins, because they've got a lot of threats.
"Hopefully we can have a real good go at Quins at home.”
Gloucester’s fans will go along with that.
Having a go at visitors is part of the Kingsholm tradition, and when a Glaws team fails to do that the fans get restless, just as they have a few times over the last couple of seasons.
But if the team gets stuck in and lets the opposition know they are in a game, they will get the full backing of the crowd and at times that can be like having a 16^th man.
Glaws and Quins are level on 13 points in the Prem table, and Saturday’s winners could get a massive jump up the table.
But there’s a long way to go yet, and after the Quins and Tigers games, Glaws take another Premiership break when they play Dragons (away) and Sarries (home) in the LV= Cup, returning to league action away to Newcastle on November 21.
It might be autumn now, but it will soon be Christmas!
