There was disbelief and disappointment throughout Bloemfontein and at home as England's World Cup hopes came crashing down around them in a mixture of controversy and humiliation. Whilst many had predicted a tough game, maybe even a loss, the 4-1 defeat; the heaviest ever at a World Cup, took many by surprise.
