Winning this one is crucial to our top 4 ambitions, the (pen)ultimate prize being the chance to play an away semi at either Gloucester Hartpury or Sarries…

Final score - 47-14
Never really looked in doubt. Ealing had the weight of the first-half set peice with Chiefs losing far too many lineouts and not looking good in the scrum either, but our defence was fantastic and kept Ealing out of the 22. Second half saw a set peice improvements across the park and sustained attack with some much improved ball handling and passing. Not sure who scored try#1, but after that Claudia had a hattrick, and 2 for Maisy Allen as well.

Just think what the scoreline might have been if we hadn’t allowed Trailfinders repeatedly to nick our lineouts!

The ladies were overdue a result. In a way it was the reverse of the guys Cup final, expected a win, wasn't expecting something that big. Buys us a bit of breathing space going into the playoffs.

The only downside was seeing Liv McGoverne being helped off the pitch in obvious pain. Let’s hope it’s not a long term setback for her.

Whilst not trying to be negative, but it seems we have found our level in the league at present. It feels GH and Saracens are well above us in ability and other teams are slowly catching us up. Could the financial position of the club be holding us back and with the ladies games not being included in the men's season ticket offer(!), I wonder if they will now be ring fenced in terms of funding by the club going forward and have to stand on their own 2 feet?

Have the club told us men’s STHs what the offer is to include the ladies games? I haven’t been told yet. Seems to be taking a long time to finalise what should be a simple proposition.

I understand that PWR games/ format is yet to be announced. So nothing from the club yet, awaiting this info.

It would be good to get another team into the PWR, as bye weeks are a bit of a drag for supporters. Under the franchise model for the Prem, each club has to field a ladies team, so NRB and Bath need to step up; and then we’re left with Trailfinders, a good ladies team without a Prem men’s counterpart, assuming Trailfinders men can’t get a Prem franchise. Perhaps Bath or NRB would like to buy their ladies team…

I've thoroughly enjoyed watching PWR, and a trip to HQ to watch the world cup final was well rewarded, however as it sits, I won't be renewing my season ticket partly because the ladies games are not included. Over the years I've seen the benefits eroded and can no longer see a benefit in holding one. Getting tickets for any game this season has not been difficult and often much cheaper than expected. I'll still be there flying thd flag when I can, but obviously less commited.
