Good to see Varney & Rigg back. Both teams have a few injuries but I think we are more impacted by ours. I'm going with home advantage but bonus points for us.
Sarries 35 Chifs 30. I have been under-calling Chiefs this season however.
I was hoping for an expansive, quick, tactical game, bossed by Luke who will hopefully 'let the boys play' ... And then read 'TMO David Rose' and my heart sank. His interjections often stop momentum and spoil games, so I hope Luke puts a lid on him.
Sarries 33 : Chiefs 32
In Rob we trust.
By the way - cream on first. There's nothing to debate.
Totally agree DN, David Rose is the worst TMO he interjects all the time and ruins the flow of a game.
The game itself is a real test of where we are. We very rarely won at Sarries even at our pomp. Yes they are not the same team as they were, however that pitch makes it a very hard place to win. If we can pick up a bonus point I'll be happy.
So Sarries 36 Chiefs 26 I'd love to be as wrong as I was last week!
Unfortunately our injury list keeps growing week by week but that’s an opportunity for others, not sure Baxter has put out an update on the subject. So pleased for Ridl a big ask away for your prem debut but I have high hopes that he will be a star going forward. Dweba a big miss as is JO-S in the front row.
Sarries always tough place to go on that awful plastic pitch. Fingers crossed for a lbp. Sarries 38 Chiefs 24.
Home advantage and theoretically a stronger bench. We are still growing as a team. A 4 try bonus point away from home would be nice. Sarries 41 Chiefs 31
Logic dictates that Sarries should probably win this, but im afraid that I can't find it in me to predict a win for them. Churlish? Probably. Long memory? Definitely.
On paper I think they look stronger but I think we have the momentum and confidence. But the fact they're at home on that awful pitch I think makes them favourites. However... Sarries 21 - 26 Chiefs.
