We’re putting out a really strong team, but watching GH demolish Saracens last week it’s hard to see us prevailing. They’ve got serious firepower up front, although I’ve always thought that Lleucu George at 10 is their only potential weak link. Some of her kicking to touch is abysmal, but then she redeems herself with a sublime touch in open play. Sadly I think they’ll still be too strong for us.

This is a very tough watch. Silly pens; missed tackles; poor passing and bad decisions are allowing Hartbury far too much space. 7:26 with 35mins on the clock.
Full time: 31:47. Much better second half, but with too much ground to catch up on. Initially thought the coaching changes have really had a negative impact, but whatever was said halftime had he desired effect. Tough day at the office, but to lose having scored 5 tries is not all bad.
In Rob we trust.
By the way - cream on first. There's nothing to debate.

A game of two halves certainly. Really poor first half as DumnoniiNomad says. Our line speed was slow, tackling awful and passing seriously poor. All not helped by us kicking a lot of our possession away. The odd thing was during the mayhem our scrum and line out functioned really well. It was the rest of the game that was so poor. The big change in the second half was that we tackled better, passed better, gave away fewer penalties, and did not kick all our ball away. G/H never looked in trouble but when we kept the ball and attacked they leaked five tries. The crowd was about 1500, was quite noisy and the ref mike was not operating. Not sure whether the change in fortunes was down to G/H substitutions, ours, the half time talk or what but we did win the second half so something for the coaches to work on.
The first half was, quite frankly, a bit of a horror show; pathetic tackling, poor decision making and woeful kicking - not a good advert for the women’s game after the success of the World Cup. Once the game was lost at half time, we suddenly woke up and decided to play. No doubt GH took their foot off the gas a bit, and getting Tatyana Heard subbed off was a great help, but the second half reminded me that we are still a good team when we put our minds to it. We’ve got Loughborough Lightning away next week. That’ll certainly be a challenge, but I think the real test will be Harlequins in a fortnight - very much a must-win if we’re to have a decent season.
I didn't think we did anything too bad first half apart from the intensity wasn't where it should have been and the missed tackles/intercept were costly.
GH certainly didn't have to work very hard to get their points.
When our intensity stepped up second half we caused them a lot of problems and our defence was generally fantastic.
Although the game was dead at half time that second half performance should give us some confidence to take in to the next game.
My 9yr old daughter enjoyed it and meeting the ladies after for autographs and photos was her real highlight.
Our ladies were brilliant with that interaction and a real credit to the club and the ladies game overall 👏
I'll admit that I only watched 30mins of the game split over halftime.
I don't know why Alex T was at Full back...she's a 10 or centre!
My overall impressions - and I accept that I didn't see the whole game - was that we were very poor.
Missing tackles, kicking the ball away to G-H who thrive on counter attack, dropping balls, passing like U8 kids and poor line out.
It made me wonder what training they do all week!!!
Susie was part of the commentary team and she did a very good job of not blasting the tactics /play on show but she must have been thinking to herself 'this is what you get when you let me go!!'
