It’s all about the battle at scrum time. At least we have Hope Rogers on the pitch this time, and Hannah Botterman is not starting for them.
Bristol 26, Chiefs 29
The match up this weekend is massive. Lots of top players and I suspect a big crowd supporting Bristol. We should have won last week and hope we can manage it this week. Need to close down Maher and not kick uncontested deep to a Kildunne equivalent. She is a very dangerous openfield runner. Hope we can squeak it and if we cannot get two points from the game or one at least. Chiefs 40 Bristol 35. A tough ask. No cards please.

I haven't seen anything of last week's game but with our form as it seems to have been over the past few matches, I can't see us getting a win at Bristol. I just hope we can keep it close - Chiefs 29 Bears 33
I think a game is needed against another 'off-form' side, to reset, but that's not Bristol. Hope I'm wrong, but my feeling is another loss.
Bears 33 : Chiefs 21
In Rob we trust.
By the way - cream on first. There's nothing to debate.
Oh dear, any hopes of the play offs effectively ended today. I can’t get my head around the extreme downturn after the 9 game winning start to the season, losing 5 out of 6, including at home to the bottom team Sale who hadn’t picked up a single league point before then.
Hi Ljs399, As you say hopes of playoffs pretty much dashed. Not a surprise to lose away to Bristol but the two or three big mistakes last week cost us as well as the shock loss to Sale. Gutted for Suzie and the squad. I wonder if some of the 'atmosphere' there must be around the club, finances and the men's performances have affected them. Whatever hammered today. My internet was down during the game so avoided the pain.
Holy hell...how did we get blown out of the water that badly? We do have a ame in hand over Brizz but we definitely have our work cut out and home playoff semi is definitely a write off now!
I don't think our playoff chances have ended, we have 2 games left and are 3 points behind Brizz who have to go to Quins for their 1 remaining game, Quins need to win to get a home semi. Win our last game against Tigers and we finish 4th if Brizz don't get anything out of Quins.

Agreed, the game in hand is important and makes you favourites I think. You should beat Leicester in the final round which means that we (Bristol) need to beat Quins and you lose to Sarries this weekend. If either you or Quins wins that puts you through barring a big upset on the last day or a very specific bonus point situation.
