Pre match notes from Gallagher Premiership Sit:

Exeter Chiefs last seven matches in Gallagher Premiership Rugby have all been won by the home side on the day. The Chiefs have lost only once at Sandy Park in Premiership Rugby since last March: 20-22 to Saracens on 22 October.
Gloucester Rugby have won just two of their last seven Gallagher Premiership Rugby matches, but those two victories have both been in the space of the last four rounds. Gloucester have won only twice away from home in Premiership Rugby since the end of last January, in successive matches in October at Bath and at London Irish.
Gloucester beat Exeter 38-22 at Kingsholm in Round 8 and have never achieved a Gallagher Premiership Rugby season’s double over the Devonians. Gloucester have not beaten Exeter at Sandy Park in Premiership Rugby since January 2015 however they were victorious at the venue in the European Champions Cup in December 2018

Difficult to predict. Gloucs bench v strong and our back line looks a bit leaden with little creativity. Away I think we would likely lose but hope to squeak a win at home. Chiefs 32 Gloucs 30

Two very exciting sets of back three players. Carreras and Thorley are a real threat.

I suspect high scoring but close.

33-31 to chiefs.

Big opportunity for Glaws as they have nobody away with the England squad, so should be a close game. Stop their driving maul and we have a great chance of winning.

Why has Joe been left out of the starting 15 again? He seemed to be hitting good form recently. Having said that, Harvey Skinner is certainly a good replacement.
Anyway, back to our guesses.

I wouldn't be surprised to see any result here! If we can sort out our scrum and lineout woes we could win well. If on the other hand we struggle in those areas we could get well beaten! Would agree Their bench looks stronger and that our backline lacks creativity.
Still hoping for a win Chiefs 26 Glaws 24

Chiefs 28 : Glaws 22 - keeping the faith

In Rob we trust.
By the way - cream on first. There's nothing to debate.

If Meehan and 36 get that Glos backline going we could be in for a tough afternoon. Think our bench is slightly stronger than theirs, so hopefully we can finish the game well. Going for Exe 33 Glos 31. BPs all round.

Not easy this one, think it will be close and Carreras may well cause us some problems!
Both sides will be bouncing from their wins in Europe last week. A close finish me thinks : Chiefs 24 - 20 Glos

Hope the officials pick up Thorley if he gets ahead of kicker, he’s too quick to give head starts. Pack is a worry, if we were the pack three seasons ago t would be a nail of win, but with our evolving packs you never know how it will play.
Defensive midfield so can’t pick a winner really but think being home should see us through.

Andy15.1 We are playing our 4th and 5th choice hookers. And without Varney and Polledri, who are with Italy.
Injured are Socino, Singleton, McGuigan, Hastings, Rees-Zammit, Mark Atkinson, Balmain, Ackermann and Reid. Seven of whom would be nailed on playing tomorrow if fit, along with Varney.
We travel in reasonable hope, given the outstanding result in Bordeaux last Saturday.

It should be a tight game, both teams have players missing which will make it interesting.

Hugely conflicted down here. Our back three are mustard on their day but the centres pairing is disappointing. Is Jonny Gray fully fit?

Looking forward to seeing Hodge v Carreras.

Whitten v Harris - less so!

Not at all confident, but going Exe 31 - 26 Glaws anyway.

Think we have better players than them in areas, but those players are future stars and still learning. I to am concerned a bit with Whits who will give 110% but with JK we are lacking out and out pace which their backs are full of.
But we have Hodge who if they give him the slightest gap will punish them, and is growing in confidence every game.
Our pack as I mentioned earlier is the Jekyll and hide part. We are not playing our first Choice hookers either, but we are more mobile than we seem, the young players still have things to learn.
Good to see Aidon get a run out.

Mike slipped up this week by predicting a loss! It gives the rest of the pack a chance to close the gap which both SC and OTH did by getting the right result and correctly predicting Chiefs’ score!!
