Beconnsall described as a scrum half on the offy playing at 10 against Bris? It will be interesting to see how the centres go. We need some good news there!
Lots of talent in the backs and forwards.
I know next to nothing about Becconsall which goes to show how thin we are at 10.

Becconsall came off the bench against Ulster and I think played fullback. I was pretty impressed with his short cameo, looks like he is quite quick with a good step. No idea what he’s like as a 10 or what his kicking game is like but I’m looking forward to seeing him in action again.
Bit worrying on fly half though! Whst if Harvey or Joe get any significant injury!!! Some good namesvin side though. Presumably means also josh hodge not ready for a run out which is a shame.

Saw him at the game on Sunday, looked in good shape.
That back row is really potent and the backs have pace and power. Could be a really exciting game.
Assuming we're including these matches in the predictions game (I think we did last year); and purely on the basis that I don't recognise many of the names on the Bristol teamsheet,

Having just read that something like 13 of Bristol's team are academy players and they have 5 front row forwards on the bench I think I'll give Chiefs the benefit of the doubt here - Bears 19 Chiefs 34

Bailey and Lloyd are dangerous and I expect us to concede a couple but I think our pack is too strong.

Erm, I've now checked and it seems we did include these matches in the predictions game. It probably didn't feel like it as they were all weekend games then, so weren't coming thick and fast in between Prem games.

3 tries from line out drives and another try was when we shoved them off their own scrum!
Good to see some strength in the set piece from our younger players.
I think every one of their tries came from back to back poor missed/tackling from us which is a bit of theme with the club at the moment.
That is a bit worrying.

Wasn't able to catch all the match on Radio Bristol but it does sound like our guys had their number...which is promising for the rest of the tournament.

All in all a good performance, we looked strong in the contact and our defence looked good overall.

Just watched the game via Gallagher Premiership site.
Looked in control until multiple changes in second half.
Fly half looked competent, tackled well and kicked 100% off the tee. Got a big boot but missed touch twice by going for broke.
