Sale at Home or the Exeter Chiefs Boxing Day Sale game, whichever way you look at it we're back to the bread and butter of Premiership rugby following 2 massive games in Europe.

Sale at Home or the Exeter Chiefs Boxing Day Sale game, whichever way you look at it we're back to the bread and butter of Premiership rugby following 2 massive games in Europe.  Although the Chiefs came down with a bit of a bump in France following their 5 point home win over Clermont I doubt if there are many associated with the club who wouldn't have taken 5 points as a good haul from those games.  Certainly Rob Baxter was a little disappointed with some aspects of our performance but he and the Chiefs players are not going to get carried away by either result.  Added to this I think Thomas the tank will be looking to add to his tally in the Prem as he's a bit behind last years schedule.

It's a short turnaround with Christmas day in the mix as well but I'm sure the Chiefs will be fired up to get on with cementing their top 4 spot as the year ends.  Not that Sale will be an easy game given some of their performances this season and Danny Cipriani  back to his best.  Hopefully a few knocks have been repaired and we can see Will Chudley back and maybe Will Hooley get some more game time.  As the saying goes where there's a Will there's a way so maybe two Will's can give us more thyan one way (sorry I'm in Christmas Cracker mode!).

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and I am looking forward to receiving one extra present in the way of a win for the Chiefs.

Well a potential banana skin....think 2 seasons ago and our los to Slae at home after 2x massive LV games or Waspies losing to us a few weeks back after 2 big games in Europe.

That said, it is also another opportunity to show how much we have come on as a squad...and a victory would show we do not need to have a dip and we can keep pushing on !

Merry Xmas all and hopefull the players will have a big celebration Boxing Day evening rather than Xmas day 👍

This should be relatively straightforward in theory but I am infamous for counting chickens. Here we go.

Looking forward to it. I'll get the curry done in the morning ready to enjoy after a few pints of the black stuff. Boxing Day match just like the old days and should both we and Waspies win we could even be sat on the top of the pile, now that would be a present to beat all presents from Santa.

Have a great Christmas all and a very Happy New Year.
