I can easily see Tigers, Sarries and Saints competing for the top spot - I think Saints have recruited well with Fotuali (sp?), Corbisero and North, even tho they have lost a couple of players (Mujati and Tonga'uiha and still lack a top class playmaker at 10. I suspect that Quins may drop off a little this season, joining Bath (will be interesting to see how long it takes their new recruits to gel), Glaws, and ourselves in the 4th-7th scrap, with Falcons competing against Wasps, Irish, Sale and Wuss to avoid the drop. The one thing that can be guaranteed is that, as always, there won't be any easy fixtures!

The only prediction I will make is Falcons will NOT go down.

I think this could be the toughest year yet!

4 out of 6 got the top 4 right, as in who would make the playoffs.

I have a feeling that Liecester might have their first average year. Glos should have a good year. London Irish look vulnerable and Wasps may be worse effected than most with the international matches as they will have key players away and a light squad.

I go into each season hoping we survive the drop at year end but with the squad we have and the settled side. I hope we have our best year yet. They have the skill and determination, we just need the luck.

Agreed, Falcons have done a good job strengthening their squad, They have a proven coach and plenty of talent up there. I reckon they will be safe this season. And Even a former Chief in Sean Tomes..

Personally I think it will be Irish or Sale who drop this year.. No disrespect to either them or their fans, but neither is exactly flush with cash and neither have performed well in the last two years and in Irish's case they have lost a number of key players such as Corbisero, Joseph, Shingler, Garvey, Watson and etc. Also both have small first team squads compared to the rest of the Prem (Sale 33 and Irish 34). A few injuries in key positions could see both really scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Sarries will have another good year, Tigers will also be a force as will Saints and Quins. For my money though Worcester are the unknown commodity this year, With a new coaching team and 13 new signings it will be interesting to see exactly what Dean Ryan will bring.

Top 2 could go either way and I think there will be a gap to 3.

If Quins cope with the loss of Johnson then I think they'll go well.

I think we will have learnt from the London Welsh and Sale losses last year and go that step further. My only concern is the loss of Richie's leadership and skill at the back of the scrum.

Saints have been about a powerful scrum and to have lost 2 quality props will be a big loss even thought they have recruited well (but will lose them for large chunks of the season). I think getting them early before the the recruits have settled in will be good for us.

Gloss could get ahead of Saints or us, I think 4-6 will be tight.

I think there will be a bit if a gap to Bath who seam to have off the pitch issues.

Wasps as has been said above have a thin squad and the promotion of some players to eng could hurt them but I think they will push Bath close.

Another gap to the next couple, Sale always seam to be safe when Dimond is coaching and get into trouble when he tries to move "upstairs" so as he is supposed to be staying by the pitch should be ok.

Newcastle is going to come down to how they cope at 10 with Jimmy moving on. But Dean Richards is too good s coach for hem to go down.

Worcester, can they win away? How's the new squad and coach staff going to do? A lot if stuff to get sorted so I think they'll struggle.

Irish seam to have lost their best players and then recruited from the championship. Nothing wrong with recruiting from the championship but don't think they have the settled squad for them to fit into.

Then a glorious victory for the mighty Chiefs at Twickenham to end the season.

I wouldn't have a clue and of course I don't get paid to make crazy predictions.

However come November 1st I will have a clue as will we all and because there are so few teams in the Premier League by then some will be fretting in the bottom four some will aspire to the playoffs and some will befeelingcomfortable in the middle.

I would love Chiefs to make the playoffs but as long as we finish 11th or above we;ll all be happy.

Whilst I would love to see us fighting for a play off place I still think we are a mid table team...no shame in that

I think Rob has signed some good players and our squad is much stronger. We play better rugby when the pitches are firm so a long Indian Summer and a dry spring could help us. Over the past three seasons we have had a mid season slump - if we can reduce the impact of this we could make the play-offs.

Think London Irish will struggle this season - they have lost a lot of their first team squad and have not signed any "names" to replace them.

Saints have bought in "names" but will lose them to International duties. George North played more games for Wales than he did for Scarlets due to International calls and injuries

Kahn Fontuali'i won't - and how well do you know Rob Verbakel, Glenn Dickson , Gareth Denman and Salesian Ma'afu?

True that, Thrupp - some unfamiliar names there, but I'm afraid Rob Verbakel didn't make much of an impression at Glasgow - hopefully it'll work out differently for you

I think Quins might struggle a bit this seasons, not sure why just a feeling. The bottom will be tight but I just have a feeling that Falcons will pip Irish, hopefully they will be safe by the last game so we can go there and win to take 4th spot from Quins
I would like to add that I'd be just as happy with a top 6 again!
